Cap and Share

Cap and Share

Cap & Share is a way of capping carbon, an alternative to Cap & Trade, carbon rations, or carbon taxes. Cap & Share is fair, simple, practical, effective, cheap, easy and empowering. It is not a tax - it puts us in charge, and it protects the poor. Don't let anyone tell you "it's not that simple". It is. We need to act quickly and decisively, and Cap & Share stands ready as an example of how to do it.

Centre for Alternative Technology

The Centre for Alternative Technology (CAT) is an education, research and visitor centre demonstrating practical solutions for sustainability, inspiring, informing and enabling people to achieve positive changes in their personal and work lives and within their local communities. A national charity based in picturesque mid Wales, CAT prides itself on its flagship research project – Zero Carbon Britain – which shows that a modern, zero-emissions society is possible using technology available today.

climate psychology alliance

Climate Psychology Alliance

CPA is a forum for psychological therapists and others seeking insight into the problem of human engagement with our climate and ecological crisis. It recognises that accurate information, even strong campaigning, can be insufficient drivers. We seek to foster awareness of how denial operates as a defence against threatening information, and to build support through understanding the often hard-to-bear states of mind that can accompany recognition of the harm already done and of future uncertainty.
Climate Stewards

Climate Stewards

Climate Stewards is a Christian carbon offsetting charity. We invite individuals, churches, charities and businesses to ‘reduce what you can and offset what you can’t’. By providing a means to do this, people are empowered to start taking control of their carbon footprint, and feel that they are part of the solution as well as the problem.
